NOW HIRING : HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent

Project Location : San Jose, CA | Public Works State & Federal | Multi-Family / Mixed-Use | 4+ Story Ground-Up

Were looking for a seasoned HVAC Sheet Metal Superintendent to lead field operations on a high-density, prevailing wage project in San Jose. This is a key leadership position on a major public works build that blends commercial and residential components and we need someone who knows how to run a tight job and keep a crew motivated.

About the Role :

This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role. Youll oversee all HVAC sheet metal scope from layout to equipment set, coordinate with the GC and other trades, and make sure every piece of duct gets installed safely, correctly, and on schedule. Its a complex job and we need a clear communicator who people enjoy working with.

Youll Thrive in This Role If You :

• Are confident leading 4+ story, multi-unit HVAC jobs with mixed-use integration.
• Know how to manage a team without micromanaging you let good people do good work.
• Can coordinate Title 24 compliance, submittals, logistics, and labor documentation with ease.
• Genuinely care about jobsite culture. Youll be representing us out there so being well-respected and well-liked matters just as much as technical chops.
• Know your way around DIR-certified payroll and federal Davis-Bacon compliance like second nature.

Minimum Requirements :

• 10+ years HVAC sheet metal experience, including 5+ years running crews on large-scale jobs.
• Familiar with California Building Code, SMACNA, OSHA, Title 24, and LEED standards.
• Prior experience with public works or mixed-use multi-family projects required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills our office team backs you up, but we rely on your reporting from the field.
