Job Description Summary
Supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and managing the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, fees, and other payments, completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations, and using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community.

Job Responsibilities
Completes daily financial operations tasks : collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments; preparing daily bank deposits; reconciling bank accounts; preparing financial reports; processing invoices and payables.Operates the property management software (Yardi / OneSite) and updates records to ensure data integrity.Review resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid or late fees; communicate with residents; implement procedures for collecting delinquencies; enforce the lease to maximize revenue.Review and submit vendor invoices for payment; reconcile work performed or products purchased; obtain community manager approval; code charges to appropriate Chart of Account codes; coordinate between vendor / contractor, accounting, and owner as needed.Follow established procedures related to evictions, including notice requirements and representation in court as needed.Process resident move-outs, apply deposit and cancellation fees as applicable, and dispose in accordance with procedures and legal requirements.Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests promptly and resolving service issues.Act as on-site supervisor in the absence of the community manager; coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks with the maintenance supervisor; manage operations in compliance with company policies.Assist in managing client / owner relationships by meeting with owners, conducting community tours, and providing performance updates and owner-requested information.Physical Demands
Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, lift and carry objects; crawl in confined areas as needed.Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Lift up to 25 pounds independently, 50 pounds with assistance.Occasional travel to assist other properties, attend trainings or meetings as needed.Flexible schedule including potential “call” duty during evenings, weekends, and holidays.Compensation
The hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
Additional Compensation
Corporate positions : may be eligible for quarterly or annual bonuses based on performance.Onsite property positions : may be eligible for weekly, monthly, and / or quarterly bonuses.Benefits
