Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing - Allen Bradley (PLC, VFD, HMI) Systems
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the maintenance team and manage the maintenance operations of PLC, VFD, and HMI systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of all mechanical and electrical systems, while also adhering to safety compliance and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations and troubleshooting activities.
- Manage maintenance schedules and ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of PLC, VFD, and HMI systems.
- Implement safety compliance measures and conduct regular safety audits.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve process efficiency.
- Maintain inventory control for spare parts and tools required for maintenance activities.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Perform regular inspections and develop process improvements for maintenance workflows.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of maintenance services and parts.
- Ensure documentation of maintenance activities and provide regular reports to management.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of PLC, VFD, and HMI systems and their applications.Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.Experience in safety compliance and implementation of safety standards.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to manage maintenance budgets and control inventory effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on process improvement.Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.Benefits
