Quality Technician is responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards.

Essential Position Duties :

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Tests a variety parts to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Uses calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and other lab equipment to perform tests
  • Uses Polyworks or Calypso Software to inspect parts with CMM
  • Ensures equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly
  • Enters gage calibration reports and new gages in GageTrak Calibration Software
  • Reports quality anomalies to leadership
  • Collates test data and drafts quality reports
  • Inspects completed welds
  • Uses torque wrenches to ensure the quality of tightened joints
  • Complete assignments as directed

Education & Experience :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs. (Excel, Word, etc.)

Individuals will be required to perform all job duties while walking and / or standing for extended periods of time on hard surfaces.

The work for this position is very physical in nature with repetitive tasks. This means it is fast paced; you must be detail oriented.

You must be able to stoop, bend, twist, turn, squat, reach, push, pull, grab or grasp. Proper lifting techniques required.

May include lifting up to 44.5 pounds.

Primary environment for this position is a warehouse / factory environment. The Toyota shop floor is not climate controlled and internal temperatures will be relative to the external temperatures and temperature forecasts.
