We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our legal department, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys, while interacting with clients and maintaining high levels of confidentiality and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to excellence and to make a significant impact within our firm. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, providing a broad range of legal support functions.

Responsibilities :

1. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and proceedings.

2. Preparation of various legal documents including contracts, agreements, and legal memorandums.

3. Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence including letters, emails, and legal notices.

4. Ensuring legal compliance in all activities and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

5. Providing administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing case files, and handling data entry tasks.

6. Managing and organizing case files, ensuring that all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

7. Communicating effectively with clients, providing them with updates and addressing their queries in a timely and professional manner.

8. Assisting in litigation support by reviewing and summarizing reports, preparing exhibits, and coordinating with expert witnesses.

9. Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work under pressure.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in law or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role within a legal environment.

3. Proficiency in legal research and legal document preparation.

4. Exceptional legal writing skills.

5. Excellent client communication skills.

6. Strong understanding of legal compliance and administration.

7. Experience in case management and file management.

8. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

9. High level of attention to detail.

10. Proficiency in drafting correspondence and proofreading.

11. Experience in data entry, litigation support, and document review.

12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

13. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

14. High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
