Nurse Manager Position At Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health is a 182-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for youth, adults and seniors. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Progressive professionals in the fields of psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education and activity therapy provide our comprehensive services.

The Nurse Manager is responsible for full unit operation including, interviewing, hiring, and termination process. Staffing, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for psychiatric and chemically dependent patients for the designated unit and, responsible for the operational and programmatic management of the designated shift; and assist in the professional growth and development of nursing staff, and direct supervision in the respective unit, carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures.
