General Description :
Provide casual food items, coffee beverages, and various fountain drinks to customers, maintain a clean work area, stock all goods, and ensure proper customer service.
Essential Functions :
- Develop, train, and actively provide instruct students in the following skills :
- POS Operation - inputting orders accurately and promptly
- Cash Handling - including picking up, counting, and reconciling cash banks.
- Teach and exemplify the true meaning of hospitality in food and beverage operations expected in the hotel industry.
- Handcrafting and serving coffee, espresso, and tea drinks.
- All aspects of customer greeting, food, and drink service, restaurant mission, and food expediting.
- Maintain proper coverage and student schedules, ensuring the restaurant maintains customer service standards.
- Performing daily opening and closing duties of a restaurant
- Perform and practice SNHD sanitation protocols
- Perform daily opening and closing duties of restaurants
- Promotes and practices safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies, and student accidents to the Management / or Security staff when necessary
- Develop and foster collaborative relationships with all CALV Departments, primarily Student Services, Food and Beverage, and Curriculum & Instructional Support Staff
- Demonstrate expertise in the preparation and presentation of coffee and espresso-based drinks
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service operations, providing support and guidance as needed to achieve goals.
Minimum Qualifications :
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment. Friendly personality, keen attention to detail, and minimum 3 months' work experience in food & beverage.
