Firmware Engineer

A company is looking for a Firmware / Embedded Engineer for a contract / consulting role.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain embedded Linux-based gateway systems for IoT and edge applications

Implement and manage connectivity solutions, ensuring stable and secure network operations

Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate hardware and software components while documenting system architecture

Required Qualifications

5-10+ years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development

Strong programming skills in C / C++ / Python within embedded Linux environments

Hands-on experience with Yocto, BSPs, and networking stacks

Familiarity with OTA updates, secure boot, and cloud-IoT integration

Experience with system performance optimization and diagnostics
