As a first step toward becoming an Infantryman, you’ll train in the use of small arms, anti-tank, and other weapons systems. You will be responsible for capturing, destroying, and repelling enemy ground forces during missions. This is also the starting point for many advanced schools, such as Special Forces, Airborne School, Ranger School, Sniper School, and Pathfinder School.

Testing & Certifications :

• 57 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available.
• 10 weeks of Basic Training (Paid).
• 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (Paid).
• Requires enlistment into the United States Army.

The Army Active Component :

Active duty is the largest component within the Army. You’ll help perform day-to-day military operations with a specialized skillset in a specific field.

You’ll develop skills for your Army job, or Military Occupation Specialty (MOS), while also spending time with loved ones or pursuing other personal activities.
