Job description
Position Summary
This position assists in the productive operation of the rehab department, working under the direction and supervision of the professional therapy staff in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. Supports daily operation of the clinic in a variety of clinical, clerical, and other capacities including treatment setup/cleanup, maintaining treatment area/equipment, assisting clinicians with routine patient care tasks, transporting/transferring of patients, stocking of supplies, and administrative support.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Physical Therapy or Rehabilitation Technician certification (Preferred)
- 6 months experience working as a Rehab/Physical Therapy Technician or other health related field OR have completed or currently enrolled in a qualified Rehab Technician Program OR enrolled in higher education in a health related curriculum. (Preferred)
- Pediatric experience in work or volunteer setting. (Preferred)
- Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date. (Required)
