Job Summary :

The main purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely application of cash deposits from the bank to our accounts receivable system. This position requires research in order to identify and allocate payments to the appropriate accounts and invoices. Maintain 100% accuracy goals

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Apply / post electronic or check payments to customer accounts from daily cash deposits
• Navigate our financial systems to research and apply payments to customer accounts. Investigate miscellaneous deductions.
• Process Credit / Debit Memos. Process adjustments based on updated payment information from customers, collections department or dispute resolution department
• Post receivables transaction batches in Oracle Fusion
• Respond and follow up with clients and / or appropriate collections analyst to receive proper / complete payment information
• Respond to emails and faxes in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding Service level goals
• Serve as backup for cash reconciliations
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
