About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Electric Utilities to lead a strategic, enterprise-wide energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating transmission solutions to support large-scale data center developments across the Americas. This role involves overseeing a growing team, partnering with various internal departments, and engaging with external entities such as utilities, RTO / ISOs, and regulators to address transmission challenges and secure the necessary infrastructure for hyperscale growth. The VP will also be tasked with managing budgets, directing consultants, and providing regular reports to senior executives and the Board on risks, opportunities, and capital planning.
Applicants for the Vice President, Electric Utilities position at the company should have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a preference for a degree in Power Systems, and an advanced degree or MBA is a plus. A minimum of 15 years' experience in electric power transmission or energy, with a strong background in leadership and managing multi-region portfolios, is required. The role demands a candidate with expertise in power flow modeling, and interconnection processes, and a proven track record of working with external entities on transmission and interconnection challenges. The ideal candidate will possess executive-level financial and strategic acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
