Overview

Planet Technology is seeking a Senior Content Designer for a 12-month remote contract. The role focuses on crafting meaningful, user-focused product content that enhances the overall digital experience. Ideal candidates have a background in UX writing, content design, and product storytelling, with a portfolio demonstrating creativity and clarity in simplifying complex experiences. Location : Remote (U.S. or Canada-based candidates preferred). Pay : ~ $81 / hr (W2, DOE). Duration : 12-month contract (full-time, 40 hours / week).

Responsibilities

• Craft, edit, test, and refine product content, including flows, UI text, in-product education, terminology definitions, and navigation design.
• Use empathy, logic, and data to inform content choices and improve user experience.
• Conduct content audits, identify patterns, and lead workshops to improve content workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, researchers, engineers, and marketing stakeholders to create consistent, unified product language.
• Become an expert in user needs through collaboration with UX research and by advocating for human-centered design in product UI.
• Shape content strategies and narratives that improve usability and elevate the overall product experience.
