BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and process improvement, with a focus on both functional and technical requirements. This role is integral to supporting business operations, and you will work closely with stakeholders to identify and define system needs, translating business requirements into actionable system designs. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned. Basic Qualifications : Business Process Analysis : Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business processes and requirements System Requirements Definition : Develop functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs System Design & Configuration : Work closely with IT teams to design, implement, and configure software solutions that meet business needs Testing & Quality Assurance : Coordinate and support testing phases, ensuring that the solution meets business and technical requirements Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system functionality, user guides, and business processes Active Secret clearance (must be verifiable at time of hire) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field 3–5+ years of professional experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role Hands-on experience with system analysis, design, implementation, and support Proficiency with business process modeling, workflow analysis, familiarity with SQL or similar querying language Excellent communication skills and ability to present data to non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications : Experience supporting DoD, federal government, or intelligence community projects Company Summary : Join the VSolvit Team!
