Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role located in Tacoma, WA, with the opportunity to complete certain work tasks remotely. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care with a focus on evidence-based addiction treatment. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, prescribing medications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining patient records. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment plans and wellness strategies to support successful recovery.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications
• Knowledge of addiction medicine and evidence-based treatment approaches
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records and supporting compliance with healthcare standards
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, including in-person in Tacoma, WA, and remotely as needed
• Active Nurse Practitioner license and board certification; DEA certification and experience in addiction medicine are preferred
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field
