Flower shop serving the Triangle is looking for an entry level flower designer. This is a position open to anyone who has worked in the industry (grocery store, big box store, flower wholesaler, flower shop, garden center).
Please do not apply if you have not had any experience working around flowers / plants. If you have worked with flowers and plants, please apply! We will train you on the job to do what we need you to do.
We will invest in you to be a great, accomplished flower designer. You will work with a small but fun and talented team.
We will take good care of you and teach you a lot in a fast paced environment surrounded every day with lots of beautiful flowers.
Starting pay is $17 an hour. When you train / work with us six months (full or part time), you will graduate to $20 an hour after review by our design room manager.
Applicants have to be able to work at least two Saturdays a month. Store is open 9-6 daily Monday through Friday with Saturdays and Sundays based on weddings and events.
While health benefits are not included, other perks do apply (to be discussed in an in-person interview.). Applicants brought in for an interview will be asked to design an arrangement.
