General Manager – Washington Harbour Ice Rink
The General Manager is responsible for the financial and operating performance of Sports Facilities Management, LLC. The objectives for this position include optimizing overall profitability, creating a culture of accountability, meeting or exceeding annual growth objectives, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, employee retention and staff development, and development of employee and operating policies.
Primary responsibilities include analyzing operations to evaluate performance, appointing department heads, establishing departmental responsibilities, coordinating functions among departments and sites, confering with ownership and team members, coordinating budgetary control systems, directing financial and budget activities, and directing human resources activities.
The ideal candidate will have prior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight responsibility of $1MM or greater, proven management and leadership experience in the food and beverage, recreational, and entertainment industry, operational knowledge of F&B, entertainment, and sport clubs, and prior experience in contracting or overseeing others who have sold corporate sponsorships.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field, and sports programming and sports event operations expertise. Travel requirements are minimal, and working conditions include the ability to travel to national events and regionally by car, lift 40 pounds waist high, and sit for extended periods of time operating a computer.
Salary : $1000.00 - $1200.00 per week
