Responsibilities :

• Supervise and mentor a team of four accounting professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Lead financial statement audits, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance.
• Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support organizational scaling.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align accounting goals with company objectives.
• Drive team development by identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and offering training opportunities.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and adherence to financial regulations.
• Proven experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in journal entry preparation and review.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize accounting processes and implement operational efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
