Job description3+ years of previous automotive technician experience CSI and Quality scores above regional average Must be proficient in all vehicle maintenance services Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background) Unlimited work volume!! Overview
DARCARS Collision Center of Silver Spring is now hiring Auto Body Technician / Mechanic!
As a Auto Body Technician / Mechanic you will be responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles, and / or parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer's standards
- De-trim, disassemble and repair vehicle with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Maintain / assist with identifying, and / or sourcing parts and material
- Meet or exceed the Collision Center\'s requirement for productivity
- Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
- Serve as subject matter expert in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
