Accounting Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking accounting leader to join our Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organization during a critical time of digital transformation. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports strategic decision-making, and drives process improvements. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and attention to detail are essential. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in leading large-scale system implementations and driving process improvements that enhance operational scalability and control. You'll play a pivotal role in modernizing our accounting operations through innovation, automation, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Partner with PayPal business leaders and wider PayPal finance organization on accounting and reporting matters
• Drive accounting support within finance transformation work programs and other process enhancements
• Provide accounting expertise and leadership to finance and business organizations
• Consult with business partners regularly to ensure awareness of significant transactions and potential accounting impact
