Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Pay : $18.66 an hour / / Paid Weekly!!!

Job Description

Join our team and perform a wide range of assembly tasks in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for assembling mechanical support assemblies to specifications, flexing to various workstations, and ensuring quality through adherence to ISO procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of assembly processes and the ability to work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions, excluding welding, in assigned department stations and feeder areas.
• Flex to other workstations and assembly lines as needed.
• Assemble mechanical support assemblies according to specifications.
• Identify and assemble all necessary parts.
• Practice and sustain 5S methods for workplace organization.
• Understand material ordering systems and proper sealing procedures.
• Read data plates and understand motor sizes.
• Conduct plumbing and electrical work on units.
• Work from ladders up to 20 feet in height.
• Familiarize with knock-down packing and crating.
• Install special accessories on units, understanding their function and installation.
• Adhere to ISO procedures, policies, and instructions to ensure quality.
• Mentor and drive LEAN principles in the area.
• Help improve safety performance and eliminate safety issues.
• Contribute to achieving departmental safety goals, including near miss reporting and safety metrics.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility on a 1st shift assembly schedule. The noise level is usually loud, requiring hearing protection. The work is primarily indoors, but large bay doors may expose you to weather elements. Expect to get dirty by the end of your shift. Steel or composite toe boots are required (self-supplied), and PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses / goggles, gloves, and arm shields are supplied.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.66 - $19.66 / hr.
