Job description

Commercial Lines CSR Construction Or Transportation

A long-standing independent insurance brokerage with a presence along the East Coast is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join its team. The CSR will provide critical back end support to account managers for commercial transportation and / or construction accounts.

They pride themselves on their solutions-based, forward-thinking and tech savvy business model.

This role is ideal for a CSR with experience servicing construction and / or transportation accounts. They are seeking a professional with strong relationship-building and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Policy Servicing and Administration

Handle day-to-day servicing of commercial insurance policies, including endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and certificates of insurance.

  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with underwriting guidelines using AMS360.

Client Communication and Support

Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their insurance needs.

  • Respond to inquiries, provide policy information, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordination with Producers and Underwriters

    Collaborate with insurance agents, brokers, and underwriters to facilitate quotes, bind coverage, and manage renewals.

  • Assist in gathering necessary information for underwriting and quoting processes.
  • Data Entry and Record Maintenance

    Maintain accurate records in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360).

  • Ensure timely updates to client files, policy details, and communication logs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management Support

    Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

  • Help clients understand coverage options and risk exposures to support informed decision-making.
  • Qualifications :

    2+ years of CSR experience in insurance

    Active Property & Casualty license in NY / NJ ideal

  • Experience with Construction, Builders Risk, Property, Auto, Inland Marine, Local & Long Trucking, Delivery Trucks / Vans, or Fleet & non-fleet ideal
  • Proficiency in AMS360 Required

    Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset
