Kenneth Park Architecture, an award-winning architectural and design firm based in mid-town New York City is currently seeking a Job Captain with 3-5 years of experience in Retail, Mixed–use, Hospitality and Development Architecture to join our team on-site, 5 days a week in our NYC office.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Job Captain in our New York City office you will be an integral member of our team, with responsibility over the production of design and construction documents. You will be in frequent contact with the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to maintain and implement client standards. The qualified candidate must also be familiar with all facets of an architectural survey.
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year based on relevant experience, skillsets and market conditions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain communication and strong working relationships with sub-consultants, vendors and GC’s, as well as team members
- Juggle multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously
- Conduct architectural surveys and produce survey reports for use in design and construction documents. Travel required.
- Must be knowledgeable of appropriate building codes and regulations, as well as industry best practices. Review and ensure all documents are code compliant.
- Maintain and implement client standards in production of all deliverables, inclusive of design and construction documents.
- Limited to full construction administration
- Update and maintain Revit and AutoCAD project template
- Maintain and update project standards as they develop
- Maintain view templates for multi-trade Revit models
- Meet periodically with appointed department designers / drafters for template development ideas and implementation
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited required.3-5 years of post-graduate experience working in US architectural firmExperience with retail store documentation, roll outs and tenant coordinationStrong technical knowledge and ability to develop construction detailsProficient in Revit, AutoCADProficient in Adobe CC and MS OfficeStrong production skills, previous experience in retail a plusStrong leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBENEFITS
