Position : Full-Time | 0.9 FTE | 12-hour shifts | Nights with weekend rotation

About Our Team

Our Labor and Delivery unit features a 24-bed setup, including LDRP / Postpartum and triage rooms. We adhere to AWHONN standards and foster a strong spirit of teamwork to care for high-risk moms from across the UP. Our collaborative environment values nurse input and relationships, ensuring that we provide the best care possible.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will :

• Perform care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate learning needs and provide education tailored to patients and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
