Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Psychiatry NP in Maryland!

About The Position

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatry for a 54-day locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting on Sept. 1, 2025. This role involves managing psych evals, med management, therapy, and other general psychiatry cases. Hours include 9a - 6p shifts with flexible days. There is also a chance for an extension with this opportunity.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct new intakes and psych evals
  • Manage medication
  • Provide psychiatric therapy
  • Ensure each patient receives optimal care within the designated appointment windows
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes

  • At least 2 years of psych experience
  • Valid MD state license
