Job Description

As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Specialist in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will be responsible for conducting routine patrols and delivering exceptional customer service, engaging with visitors and tenants to support a welcoming environment. Your role is critical in upholding Allied Universal's values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity, while contributing to the security-related needs of the property. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols or while on post.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding security-related matters.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with company and client procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid guard card or security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
