Our client, a mission-driven organization based in New York City, is seeking a Security Administrator to support their network security operations and contribute to various IT initiatives. This individual will play a key role in maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure, managing vendor systems, and providing training and support across affiliated locations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain network and infrastructure security.
- Administer security tools including MDR and email filtering platforms.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies for internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Apply regular firmware, software updates, and security patches.
- Conduct security audits and system reviews.
- Deliver cybersecurity training and support to affiliated locations.
- Manage the phishing simulation and security awareness platform.
- Assist with broader IT projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or a related field.5+ years' experience in a security-focused IT role.Hands-on experience with Watchguard, Cisco, and Meraki systems.Familiarity with Rapid7 MDR and Proofpoint is a strong plus.Skilled in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.Compensation : $120,000-140,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
