Tenant Services Coordinator
Full-Time

Position Summary
The Tenant Services Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the overall management of housing services. The TSC will communicate and coordinate with a variety of stakeholders to maintain permanent housing for the individuals served.
The Tenant Services Coordinator will be required to meet with participants and team members in the field to provide service delivery or for quality assurance purposes. This may include the need to use public transportation and walking to locations in both warm and cold weather conditions throughout the year.
Essential Duties and Functions
Mobile Work- Need to have the ability to be mobile to meet with program participants independently in the community and at their residences.
Encounters
Initial contact with participant occurs during intake process.
Must make Face-to-Face contact with participants Bi-Yearly.
Maintain monthly phone contact with participant.
Documentation
Encounter Notes must be entered into database within 24-48 hours of the encounter.
Training- Completing Assigned Training quizzes, and confirmed understanding on how to implement what was learned. Attend TURN Workshop, Reasonable Accommodation, and Fair Housing trainings.
Disciplinary History- Adherence to RHD policies including call outs, professionalism, and other program and organizational standards. Complying with all requirements listed in TSC Guidelines.
TSC Position Duties
Assist participant in meeting tenant obligations for timely rent payments and apartment maintenance.
Coordination - Related Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in human services field including social work, psychology or related field from an accredited institution and three years residential and / or supported housing experience .
Master’s degree preferred in human services field including social work, psychology or related field from an accredited institution and one year residential and / or supported housing experience .
CPRP certification preferred
Two years of experience in the effective provision of direct or supervisory services related to housing for individuals in mental health recovery.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in entering data and using Electronic Health Record.
Other Requirements / Certifications
Valid driver’s license
State police clearance
Child abuse clearance
FBI clearance
Hazard and Atmospheric Conditions
Additional Special Working Conditions : Will at times be entering consumer households where conditions are unknown.

X Light : exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The use of arm and / or leg control requires force greater than sedentary, but worker still sits majority of time.
