Position Description
A Software Developer's work on this program is dictated by the software development needs of an agile and flexible architecture. A Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required for this position. Developers work to create software programs for computers, mobile devices, wireless communications, servers, and data manipulation and visualization. They update end-user software and conduct quality control, and visualization functions. Looking for 3+ years of experience in mobile application and proficiency in popular coding languages including Python, Java and C++ and frameworks or systems such as AngularJS and Git. Additionally, knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks. It would be beneficial if the applicant is skilled in the application of Apache Spark, NoSQL databases, Hadoop, and other big data technologies. This work requires experience in software development and management of software systems to include: API documentation, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS-driven enterprise architecture (Elastic Search, S3, EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, etc.), hosting services, management of message queues between applications, and push notifications; Demonstrated experience with operating systems: CentOS Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Windows 2016 Server; demonstrated experience with ; demonstrated experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, or Angular); demonstrated experience with Docker, Docker-Compose. Additionally, a well-rounded software developer has demonstrated experience with Network System maintenance, support, and operations. Added desirable skills: Familiarization with AI tools used to aggregate/search/compile data from a wide variety of sources. Ability to configure various hardware components. Ability to describe complex technical matters to non-technical staff. Experience in the design, setup, and operation of technical demonstrations. Ability to incorporate multiple technologies for novel solutions. Ability to enact ad-hoc technical experiments to test trade craft concepts.
