Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or policy violations. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies, maintaining clear and professional communication. Document all incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols and provide detailed reports to management. Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to financial institutions, such as theft, fraud, or unauthorized access, and take appropriate action as directed by site procedures. Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while carrying out armed responsibilities.
