Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Rochester, NY 14621 (New York nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1870 - $1920 per week Assignment Length : 13 weeks (November 18, 2025 - February 17, 2026) Shift : Day shift (3x12-hour shifts per week, 07 : 00 - 19 : 00), plus 3 weeks of nights during contract Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Every other holiday Unit : Assigned at offer; must be willing to float as needed Charting System : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience Recent acute care experience (within past 6 months) Proficient in Epic charting system Capable of managing a 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 patient ratio Not accepting candidates within a 75-mile radius of Rochester, NY No first-time US assignments Flexible to float to other hospital units as needed Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg Tele patients in a busy tertiary care hospital Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Float to other units as required to support patient care needs Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Rochester, NY!
