Distribution Technician

Warehouse And Shipping Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse and Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of distribution activities, ensuring that all operations meet our high-quality standards before shipping to customers.

Responsibilities

• Label, move, and complete required documentation in response to various distribution instructions.
• Perform operations including adding plugs, seals, removing paint overspray, and ensuring all motors meet quality standards before shipment.
• Resolve allocation and shortage problems by working collaboratively with schedulers and external suppliers.
• Schedule freight carriers and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all goods and paperwork, including domestic and export documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers to address and resolve shipping-related issues.
• Generate kit orders from customer orders and kanban demand, then build, assemble, and package kit orders by pulling parts and prioritizing activities according to manual and computerized order requirements.
• Monitor stock levels against order requirements and take appropriate actions to resolve allocation and shortage problems.
• Perform audit, inventory location assignments, cycle counting, and other audit and control activities to maintain inventory accuracy.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with shifts available from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM or 7 PM to 3 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
