Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Description :

• Provides professional nursing services to individuals in the home setting through nursing assessment, planning, care, and evaluation in accordance with physicians' orders, the established plan of care, the patient's diagnosis, corporate policy, procedures, and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Carries out primary care management functions for assigned patients.
• Safely and independently administers prescribed treatments, medications, and nursing interventions based on assessment and plan of care.
• May require specialized skills depending on assignment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles over the life span of the assigned patient population. Assess and interpret patient age-specific data and provide appropriate, age-specific treatment. Provides direct patient care to assigned age groups.
• Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor, and staff safety by complying with all applicable safety regulations, learning methods to reduce medical errors, reporting actual and potential errors, and hazardous conditions. Participates in identifying opportunities to standardize processes and error-proof systems to increase safety and collaborates in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.
• Enhances professional growth and development through continued education to maintain up-to-date knowledge, skills, and competencies.
• Maintains established policies and procedures, quality assessment, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Provides outstanding service to all customers, fosters teamwork, and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
