Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : Youngstown, OH 44512 (Ohio radiology jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Radiology Technologist Setting : Hospital-based Radiology Department Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Hours per Week : 40 Shift : 4x10 hour shifts, 1 : 00pm – 11 : 30pm; every other weekend; minimal call before / after shift Holiday Coverage : 1 holiday if needed Estimated Weekly Salary : $1520 - $1640 Radiology Technologist Qualifications ARRT Certification and Registration (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required) BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (required; must be obtained prior to direct patient care) Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited program (preferred) Ohio state radiology technologist license (preferred) Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation safety and clinical patient care (required) Proficiency in surgical radiography and experience with surgery (required) Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS (preferred) Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Obtain and document patient clinical history and relevant laboratory results Position and immobilize patients to optimize imaging, ensuring patient comfort and safety Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure for patients, self, and others Perform radiographic procedures using GE imaging equipment and accessories Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiology procedures, including surgery Utilize aseptic surgical techniques as required Verify informed consent and complete all pre- and post-procedure documentation Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposures Collaborate professionally with physicians, technologists, hospital staff, patients, and families Operate equipment in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards Deliver patient-centered care to neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients Apply now to join our healthcare team in Youngstown, Ohio and take the next step in your radiology technologist career!
