Working hours - Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Total hours - 36

BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

13-16 week contract

D / N rotating & Night shift options available

Experience : Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred. Chemo certification is NOT required

Patient Diagnoses :

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)

Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)

Amyloidosis

Aplastic Anemia

Chronic Leukemia

Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)

Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia

Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Multiple Myeloma

Myelodysplastic Syndrome

Myeloproliferative Disorders

Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Special Procedures / Unit Details :

Autologous Transplants : Patients receive their own stem cells.

Syngeneic Transplants : Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.

Allogeneic Transplants : Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.

CAR-T Therapy

Certifications Required :

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Certifications :

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification

Oncology Certified

Skills Required :

MS / Tele (Medical-Surgical / Telemetry)

Telemetry monitoring

Interpretation of dysrhythmias

Use of Rapid Response Teams

Feeding tube care and management

Blood product administration

Central line blood draw

Peripheral line care / management

PICC line management

Nasal cannula administration
