About hear.say brewing + theater :

hear.say brewing + theater is a craft microbrewery, improv performance theater, corporate training center, and event space with an on-site food truck.

We have a 7 barrel brewing system and a wide variety of drinks with and without alcohol.

We aspire to build a vibrant community hub where joy and laughter are at the heart of everything we do. We aim to create a welcoming environment where guests can come together, connect, and leave with a smile on their faces.

Position Overview :

We are seeking passionate and outgoing individuals to join our team as a Bartender. As a Bartender at hear.say brewing + theater, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by delivering exceptional hospitality, crafting delicious beverages, and fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and their experience exceeds expectations.
• Prepare and serve a variety of craft beers, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and attention to detail.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our brewing process and theater performances.
• Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure smooth operations and seamless guest flow throughout the venue.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, following established cash-handling procedures.
• Uphold our commitment to responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest intoxication levels and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support efforts beyond the bar to maintain a clean, safe environment as needed.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and educating guests as needed on our craft beverages.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, maintaining a positive attitude during busy periods.
• Prior knowledge of craft beer, cocktails, and beverage trends is an asset, with a desire to learn and expand your knowledge.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
