Must provide proof of pending licensure status at the time of submission.

Must have license in hand prior to start date.

2 years minimum experience required.

Unit accepts first-time travelers with 2 years experience.

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in general OR, bariatrics, ENT, neurology, orthopedic, and urology lines.

Special procedures include total joints, spine surgeries, craniotomies, free flaps, cyto reduction, bariatric procedures, and ENT / OMF.

The nurse will be required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

No call requirements are expected.

Weekend coverage is required for one shift every six weeks.

The scrub color is ceil blue.

All employees are required to have the flu vaccine.

The daily census includes approximately 60 cases.

Patient age groups will include adults and geriatrics.

The unit is supported by various interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, interpretation services, radiology, lift teams, and pharmacy.

The call requirement is six calls per six-week schedule.

The patient ratios are one patient-to-nurse ratio for day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.

The candidate must have two supervisor references available upon request.
