What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering or exiting the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and management to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.

Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate, supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures as directed.

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to promote a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements :

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
