Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment. Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain thorough knowledge of the location's layout, access points, and emergency procedures. Communicate clearly with other Allied Universal team members and / or site personnel as needed. Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and client requirements. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least one year of security-related experience is required. A current EMT certification is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
