Job Title : Drug Manufacturing Technician
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Richmond, VA (onsite)
Contract Duration : Contract until 01 / 11 / 2026
Work Hours : 9AM - 5 : 30PM
Description : RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receive and open specimens delivered to the laboratory for analysis
- Review and document acceptability of specimen and chain of custody forms
- Destroy specimens; as needed
- Clean and maintain work area daily
- Inspect all trash bags once aliquoting process is completed to ensure sample and document removal
- Process Triage request
- Assist Sample Handling area
- Prepare samples for shipment
- Adhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor information
- Must comply with company policy
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION :
High school education or Ged preferred

Basic ability to use a computerBasic ability to understand laboratory technique and proceduresBasic ability to communicate ideasAdvanced ability to understand certification requirements for SAMHSA, CAP-FUDT, and other regulatory bodiesBasic ability to understand the function of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other laboratory computer systemsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
