Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion, managing the nuts and bolts of project execution. This role is about keeping our projects on track, within budget, and up to our high standards.
You will handle everything from the initial setup of job sites to the final touches, ensuring each project reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and organize job sites, ensuring all necessary materials and tools are ready for the week’s tasks.
- Delegate daily tasks to crews, overseeing their progress and ensuring high productivity levels.
- Conduct regular check-ins to monitor work progress, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
- Procure materials and equipment, managing inventory to meet project timelines.
- Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and security standards.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring all parties meet their commitments.
- Uphold our quality standards, inspecting work for both technical precision and aesthetic excellence.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones to senior management.
- Negotiate with subcontractors for services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality work.
Skills
Proven experience in construction management, with a strong background in framing, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues before they arise.
- Exceptional time and project management abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Effective communication skills, with the capability to set clear expectations and provide concise instructions to teams and subcontractors.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
A keen eye for detail, not just for identifying construction issues but also for ensuring the quality of finishes meets our standards.
