Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
- Batching : While batching associates are expected to create water, batch DEF, and transfer DEF to the storage tanks. They are responsible for maintaining the quality of the DEF they blend, maintaining cleanliness and neatness around the Storage Tanks, Batching Tanks, Urea Loading Area (into the Batch Tank) and Water Storage Tanks, and preparing railcars for unloading which includes connecting air lines, product unloading hoses, and heating hoses. They monitor the RO and DI Water Systems in the batching area and maintain Batch Samples and Batch Logs. They are to change DEF filters as needed.
- Shipping and Receiving : Associates are expected to safely perform shipping and receiving functions including loading and unloading trucks, preparing orders, and accurately receiving inbound materials. They are responsible for container filling (tote and drum), maintaining predetermined container levels, and the Tote exchange program. They maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the dock areas (including the truck bay parking) and the Tote and Drum loading Area. They interact respectfully with customers and vendors, and train drivers on occasion to use the Microload DEF truck loading system.
- Housekeeping : Associates maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures. They assist in maintaining the cleanliness and neatness of the whole facility, including unloading and loading areas of the warehouse, office, breakroom, restrooms, and Lab Room areas. Job-related tools and equipment are to be maintained and stored in their respective areas.
- Maintenance : Associates ensure the proper operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. They assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment used in the facility, including plumbing and minor electrical work. Welding is a plus.
- Computer Entry : Associates work with computers and interface with the company's Warehouse Management Software. Duties include receiving orders, printing finished goods BOLs, entering and scanning BOLs, completing work orders, and assisting with inventories.
