What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within an educational environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client requirements.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.

Support emergency response activities as directed, including guiding individuals during drills and / or real events.

Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding incidents, concerns, or requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
