Job descriptionMust have experience as Director of Admissions in a skilled nursing facility / long-term care setting Must have a strong admissions background and knowledge of admissions processes Must have strong leadership skills Must be self-driven with business development goals and ability to execute plans to achieve desired outcomes Possess excellent sales and marketing, communication, time management and organizational skills and a great personality The primary purpose of this position is to establish referral sources and to obtain required information and admit residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor. Will work to build relationships with area case managers, physicians, social workers, community organizations and hospitals to increase census and highlight the quality of care and services provided, including on-site short and long-term rehabilitation in our skilled nursing facility. Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing. Maintain updated bed ability and facility services information.
