Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled structural Welders to join our team. Candidates should have at least one year of welding and fabrication experience, proficiency in MIG welding, and knowledge of structural steel assembly. This position involves both shop-based fabrication and field welding on a variety of projects, including structural, architectural, and custom metalwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and other welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GTAW) with precision and efficiency
• Cut, shape, fit, and assemble structural and fabricated metal components
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including analog MIG welders, chop saws, grinders, and basic mill equipment
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material-handling equipment
• Weld and fabricate structural steel for buildings, supports, and assemblies in compliance with codes and standards (AWS, ASME, etc.)
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Pass required weld / fabrication tests as part of the hiring process
