Responsibilities :

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
• Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
• Receives components or items for assembly and / or test in programmed sequence
• Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
• Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
• Follows assembly / test instructions, e.g., color code, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP), if applicable to site
• Completes required documentation relative to production and quality
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping / 5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
• May read and interpret blueprints (product specific)
• Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition
• Will plumb variations of standard and custom products
• Occasionally assist with in house plumbing mechanical work
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with complicated jigs and fixtures
• Update and redline drawings as required
