Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - ADABAS

Position Summary

Join our team as a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer specializing in Software AG ADABAS environments. You will play a crucial role in upgrading mainframe database software while providing expert administration and tuning support. As a key team member, you will collaborate with vendor personnel to swiftly resolve database issues and ensure optimal performance for our clients.

Your daily responsibilities will include :

• Conducting essential database maintenance tasks such as definition changes, backups, restores, and space growth monitoring.
• Creating and maintaining disaster recovery procedures.
• Optimizing database performance through thorough reviews and tuning exercises.
• Supporting the onboarding process for new clients.
• Providing 24 / 7 on-call support as part of a scheduled rotation.
• Documenting all tasks performed, ensuring adherence to change management policies.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Mainframe Database.

Benefits

As of this posting, the estimated pay scale for this role ranges from $80,000 to $148,000 annually. Please note that actual placement may vary based on skills and experience, in addition to performance incentives and equity options offered.
