A Day in the Life :

Plant Electrician is responsible for the electrical maintenance of the Destrehan LA soybean processing facility. Candidate must actively participate in Bunges employee safety policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees. Additionally this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food maintain a food safety culture within the site continually improve the sites food safety management system and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Details :

Monday through Friday 7 : 00am 3 : 00pm. One on-call week per rotation.

$31.49 an hour

What Youll Be Doing :

• Plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repair (electrical circuits of 480VAC or less variable frequency drive (VFD) and AC / DC systems)
• Perform general electrician tasks including but not limited to running conduit and sizing and pulling wires
• Follow interpret and read blueprints and schematics
• Inspect for conformity to industry standards or specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic industrial equipment
• Maintain electrical switchgear
• Lay out and install conduit
• Other duties as assigned
