Performs complex and specialized administrative assignments involving finance, accounting, evaluation, research, public information, and special projects. Provide assistance to other OPSE units, and related work as required.
Job Summary : The fundamental job duties for this position are to assist management in ensuring full compliancy, both operationally & fiscally, as dictated by the Federal consent decree through the management and execution of the invoicing and collections processes.
Additional duties will include creating and transmitting invoices, accurately recording and executing invoice revisions, execution of the Accounts Receivable collections process, account research and reporting, providing reports and analysis, maintaining customer records, providing input on policy development regarding best practices for invoicing and collections, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current Federal, State, and local law and regulations regarding collections activities, maintaining proficiency in all software and other tools utilized in the execution of the invoicing and collections processes, providing assistance to other units of OPSE as necessary, effectively interacting with the public in person and via telephone and email, and other duties as assigned.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
A written test, weighted 100%. The Management Development Analyst I examination is a written test designed to measure : Basic Management Principles, Decision-Making & Organizing, Interpersonal Skills, Written Communication and Mathematics.
