Job Description :

Learning Objectives :

Provide students with both clerical and media production experience in a professional and educational setting. As administrative support for the college’s non-credit Film Academy, students will have an opportunity to assist with non-credit course development and coordination, marketing, and production of the Film Academy’s forthcoming podcast. Exposure to established film and media professionals will provide the opportunity to hone interpersonal skills and build a network that can be leveraged for career development. Ongoing feedback and mentorship will be provided to promote continuous improvement of soft and hard skills, positioning students for success in a wide variety of professional sectors post-internship.

• Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
• Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
• Successfully pass background / drug screening;
• Answer phone and take messages;
• Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
• Open and sort mail;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills;
• Willingness to learn new technology;
• Assist with special projects;
• Other duties as assigned.
